Description

Leading Investment bank is looking for a senior business analyst or business analyst with strong exposure to Agile development disciplines to join a new team that is being assembled to deliver a supply chain analytics platform, which will be used by all relationship managers across the entire bank.

Candidates must have a good understanding/experience of working in an Agile environment, especially thin slicing of stories. Strong Experience working collaboratively with a UEx designer to define User Journeys/stories coupled with being involved in a project that delivered a large scale frontline/business initiative is required. Given this tool will have such a wide user base, this is an added dimension of complexity to the project, hence it could be useful to have someone who is aware of the potential risks.

Comfortable working across IT and business needs on a project. Full life cycle Business Analysis experience from requirements definition through to implementation within a business facing IT environment Complete formal knowledge of the document life cycle, terms of reference, technical and functional specs, business requirements and business cases. Experience working with offshore development, analysis & test teams. Ideally having previous (developer) experience in some relevant language - but linked to a business or credit risk related activity would be advantageous but not required. Good analysis and design skills & good understanding of RDBMS/
Datawarehousing concepts.

You will be responsible for:

* Collaborating with the business to help produce clear and unambiguous business requirements, functional design and acceptance criteria

* Communicate the business requirements & functional design to the development and testing team

* Drive the prioritisation of functional requirements with business

* Produce technical functional specifications

* Translation of technical functional specifications into development and test plans

* Scope and change management and the associated impact analysis

* Ownership of functional enhancement dependencies

* Assist development team in prioritising development cycles

* Assist testing team in prioritising the test scripts and approach (definition of a test strategy)

* Review of defects and their prioritisation

* Release management and planning

* Interaction with partner teams
