Network Operations Manager - Affalterbach, Deutschland

Urgently looking for Network Operations Manager for a reputed Automobile Company. Multiple Positions in Multiple Locations within Germany.

Candidate must have minimum 3 years of people management experience with direct reports as their performance manager. In-depth knowledge and experience of change, problem and incident management. Must have very good communication / presentation skills and team coaching attitude. Fluent English verbal and written proficiency. Financial understanding in billing, invoices & PO. Project Management skill, SLA Reporting and IT Networks teams management experience is a must.

Required Skills / Experience
  • Demonstrated operations manager with experience in people management & technical support
  • Data Center operations, which covers the scope of capacity planning, racks delivery, installation, decommission and incident management
  • Guide the improvement of processes and procedures on a continuous basis and manage team and staff performance
  • Responsible for managing a team of 24/7 operations to provide overall datacenter support in hardware and network equipment
  • SLA Reporting and governance
  • Customer engagement
Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance of team(s) of data center operation processionals
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of day-to-day data center operations including queue management
  • 24/7 shift arrangement and hardware logistics
  • Fast learn or act as the subject matter expert across all aspects in data center operations
  • Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and met
  • Inspire and guide improvement in team process, technology innovation and automation
  • Manage Large Scale Events (outages) and act as the call leader
  • Manage and improve the workflows and through-put for data centers operations
  • Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided, and continuously strive to improve our Customer Experience
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience with direct reports as their performance manager
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of change, problem and incident management
  • Demonstrated communication skill in presentation, open discussion, team coaching
  • Fluent English verbal and written proficiency
  • Financial understanding in billing, invoices, PO etc
  • Project Management skill
  • SLA Reporting
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with these skills and technologies experience will be preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge on data center operations, processes and continuous processes improvement
  • Experience in data center Safety and Security measures
  • Data mining/analysis skill
  • ITIL Foundation, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma and/or Risk related certifications
  • Data Center related certification - CDCP/S/E, CDCMP/TP
  • Linux certification and/or administration experience - RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, Linux+
