Certes are currently recruiting for a Technical Deployment Engineer.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To support end user platforms and ensure the efficient operation of client computer systems across the South Wales area.
Post-holders will be working with Legacy systems and state-of-the-art technologies.
MAIN DUTIES:
1.To be fully conversant with current PC technology.
2.To be conversant with PC, Tablet and laptop devices and Samsung mobile phones.
3.To be conversant with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
4.To be acquainted with the Microsoft Office including any Cloud suite of applications.
5.To develop a knowledge of the various hardware, peripherals, software and communications equipment used by the Force.
6.To acquire knowledge of Force operational computer systems, with particular emphasis on the client software.
7.To perform client installation, configuration, fault diagnosis and remediation throughout the Force area.
8.Receive and respond to enquiries from customers, including complex queries related to the area of work and provide relevant information, on the phone, face to face or via email.
Must have a Clean UK Drivers license and willing to undergo SC Vetting.
