Description

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are keen to experience working in a very high profile and unique team environment.

This role can be done remotely. It is on behalf of a prestigious government organisation and is paying £24.30 per hour (equivalent to a salary of £36,027). This is a 3 month contract with extensions probable. It is a 37 hour working week (flexible working).
You'll be working on delivering evidence which is critical to informing government policy making on the most important issue facing the country today. The work is fast paced, and each team member will bring key strengths required for a successful collaboration as outlined below.

Relevant Skills and Experience

  • A degree level qualification in a Quantitative Social Science, or Maths/Statistics or equivalent discipline.
  • This is suitable for someone with a MSc or PhD.
  • Able to confidently use R (online test likely to be used ahead of any interview)
  • Resilient and able to work at a fast pace in a changing environment, and able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

This team produces data for central government decision making on a weekly basis which means a challenging schedule from pipeline to delivery.
This role requires an SC clearance - Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 out of the last 5 years.
