Security Cleared Network Engineer - Government - £500p/d
Contract Network Engineer is now required by my Government to enable project delivery of business critical Government IT services. Due to the sensitivity of this engagement the role holder will be required to be onsite 5 days a week.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving performance, facilities and integrity of all on-line systems and will plan, configure and implement networks on local and remote sites.
The ideal Network Engineer will have the following skills:
- In-depth experience in IP data networks
- CCNP or equivalent network experience
- Holds a valid UK driving licence
- Developed Vetting OR Security Cleared
- UK Nationality essential
- Experience of a complex data centre network environment
- Hands-on experience with CISCO layer 2/3 Switches and Firewalls inc Nexus
- Hands-on experience with McAfee Enterprise Firewalls
- Hands-on experience with F5 BigIP Load balancers
- Hands-on experience with Riverbed Steelhead WAN Optimisers
