Our client is a rapidly expanding Fintech business based in Central London. offering leading-edge, cloud-based, SaaS systems technology for global financial services customers in its sector

The Role

The developers will be expected to use their asset management and/or vendor domain knowledge and tech experience to:

  • build a new organisational level security master based on Refinitiv QAD data
  • migrate several Legacy VBA applications on to the new .NET Core platform (Refinitiv I/B/E/S estimates data, World Scope fundamental data, Data Stream Pricing/MCAPs, FTSE/MSCI Benchmark (indices), IDS FI Data ect)
  • build support and maintenance GUIs for use by client services and data ops personnel
  • onboard new feeds/data vendors.

    • Tech Skills (mandatory)

    • .Net Core, C#
    • AWS, SQL
    • MVC, Razor, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Multithreading, microservices, async
    • Deep knowledge of TDD, Design Patterns, SOLID, DI, Unit Testing CI/CD, WebAP

    Domain

    • Knowledge/Experience of working on the Buy Side at an asset management org ( mandatory )
    • Knowledge/Experience of Benchmarks ie MSCI, FTSE, S&P. ( mandatory )
    • Knowledge/Experience of Reference Data IDs ie Sedol, ISIN, Cusip. ( mandatory )
    • Knowledge/Experience of Reference Data Pricing fields ie Price, MCAP, EPS, Returns.( mandatory )
    • Knowledge/Experience of Market Data vendors that provide fundamental data ie Refinity QAD, Refinitiv Data Stream, Refinitiv IBES, Refinitiv World Scope etc.
    • Experiencing working on/building a security master (equity)
