Description

As a Business Analyst (BA) you will take responsibility for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the firm for key financial systems. You will design and document workflows and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.

The role.

You'll gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to gain all the required insights. You'll interpret business needs, determining how they fit into global priorities & critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

You'll be a proactive communicator, collaborating with internal staff and external suppliers, taking responsibility for design and analysis of software improvements.

You'll contribute throughout the project life cycle, (including the development, testing, UAT and training phases) & document functional requirements & training instructions.

About you

You'll need to have experience of either InTapp Open or group claim action software. You'll be excellent people management skills & a successful background in delivering project and change initiatives to the business.

You'll need to a competent communicator and able to working effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

The role will be based on an initial 6 month contract paying up to £70k per annum
