Description

Job Purpose:

Analyse business requirements and transpose these into a fully functioning robotics solutions.

Work with both business and technical individuals with the ability to communicate effectively to achieve a delivery that meets the requirements.

Responsibilities:

Understand both business and technical terminology and able to communicate and translate the requirements and design into technical solutions

Develop high quality technical specification & release documents on time and ensuring adherence to development standards

Conducting thorough Unit Testing to aim to deliver quality solutions

Support the Test Team in defect analysis & fixing & test support

Liaise with the BOT Manager, IT Operations Support, Business Analyst & 3rd party vendors (eg UI Path) to analyse & resolve issues.

Peer review and provide feedback on documents and code produced by other engineers/developers.

Share knowledge with other developers

Should be a go-getter' - will need to be able to work on their own initiative and not require constant support and supervision.

Build a better experience for colleagues and customers alike

Help reduce costs by implementing more efficient processes

You need to be able to communicate well and help and nurture colleagues.

Need to know:

Demonstrable experience as a Robotic Process Automation Engineer/Developer using Robotic technologies, particularly proficient with UIPath

Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the Robotic Process Automation development and technologies, especially around UIPath

Demonstrate exposure of software development life cycle, including writing functional and technical specifications

Extensive experience and understanding in amending code, testing and ensuring everything has been done ready to going live

Ability to troubleshoot & find the root cause of issues

Good communication and presentation skills

SAFe Agile Manifesto: good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology working practices

Preferably able to demonstrate UK retail/private/corporate/commercial banking knowledge

Customers:

Business, IT and Change resources that have requested an IT change

Centre of Excellence colleagues including Product Owner, Solution Engineer, Business Analysts and Tech Lead/Application Owner

Test team that validates the code quality & completeness

Project, Change & Release team that manage the delivery

Other Development team members and IT colleagues
