Job Title: Strategic Planner Performance Marketing
Location: Remote -Aug then London
Duration: 12 Months Contract initially with possibility of extension
Description
The EMEA Performance Marketing Team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Strategic Planner to help with the coordination of planning, budgets, insights, and operations across the team.
- Media Agency or Performance marketing client side experience
- Experience working with Paid media channels such as Paid Search, Awareness Advertising, Display, Paid Social, Video, Email
- Extremely organised, able to stay calm under pressure and capable of balancing multiple projects and requests simultaneously
- Someone who can support the team in coordinating the overall strategy & plan, manages budgets across the team and can support the team with operations, insights & analysis
What you'll do:
- Become a subject matter authority within Performance Marketing on channels such as Paid Search, Awareness Advertising, Display, Paid Social, Video, Email & their role on the customer journey
- Be responsible for pulling together the cross-channel Performance Marketing plan, closely aligning with channel experts for execution and delivery
- Support executional teams with stakeholder management, day to day operations & processes and delivering insights & recommendation to the wider business
- Tell the overall Performance Marketing story in weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews by producing insightful reports and presentations.
- Observe and evaluate trends & translate findings into strategic recommendations using effective business communication skills.
- Build and optimise team processes to ensure alignment, consistency & operational excellence.
- Partner with Testing & Optimisation team to design & measure opportunities across the team
- Closely collaborate with the Corporate Team, Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional teams ensure we are fully aligned, supported and are maximising our efforts across EMEA.
What's needed to succeed
- Solid understanding of how Performance Marketing integrates with other marketing channels, and its impact on the broader business.
- Extremely organised, able to stay calm under pressure and capable of balancing multiple projects and requests simultaneously
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Confident deriving insights from large data sets, an ability to turn this into meaningful recommendations & a sharp attention to detail for data quality assurance
- Proven experience at an agency, publisher, vendor or client.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to deliver results working with cross-functional teams
- Sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot-tables, V-lookups, graphics etc.) and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Adobe Analytics & Tableau beneficial
- Knowledge and proficiency in European languages a bonus but not crucial
