CONTENT DESIGNER/COPYWRITER

Our retail client is looking for a Content Designer to join them for an initial 12 week contract.

You would be responsible for shaping content and ensuring that it appears in the right places and in the most suitable format for the audience.

You have a great eye for detail and are able to communicate clearly and translate ideas to stakeholders and team members alike. Importantly, you are able to produce copy that works across a number of different channels and formats. You have previous experience working in Agile and understand what is required to 'work lean' - working closely with your colleagues to iterate and learn quickly.

You will be a champion and ambassador for the customer experience for our digital and offline touchpoints across the entire business. Finally, your passion will be rewarded in the knowledge that you have influenced the content of a compelling suite of products that will help grow long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in an agile multi-disciplined delivery team day to day, personal content delivery tasks will be critical.
  • Brainstorming concepts, creating drafts of copy for different audiences and formats, including UI elements, marketing material, informational customer and trade partner communications and supporting business artefacts.
  • Being a champion of 'audience first' content design, utilising the tools and materials at your disposal to create compelling customer experiences that meet the user need.
  • Taking a strategic approach to the formulation of our CRM activities, following established best practices and working with Marketing to best understand our audiences and their requirements.
  • Understanding and championing digital best practice standards, such as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for content and cross-device usability.
  • Partaking in user research engagement, being able to qualify the outputs of your work against the needs of the audience
  • As part of the quality assurance process, you will be responsible for reviewing the content of the product once in the development phase and diligently conducting suitability reviews. You will ensure quality levels are understood and maintained.
