Description

End- to- End Architect for Connectivity Domain

This is a long-term contract but is initially 6 months long, it will then be extended in 6-month blocks.
This position is based in the Netherlands or the UK and allows for remote working, eventually you will be required on site 5 days a week.
Travel within the EU maybe required, all expenses covered by the client.
Day rate is negotiable based on experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders on future In-Home and Out-of-Home Connectivity products direction and technology capability
  • In charge of requirements capture and management, acting as the gatekeeper for all new demand and requirements in the Connectivity domain
  • Work with other CTO and IT architects to develop solutions that maximize reusability and cost savings
  • Review and approve Functional Designs (FD) and Technical Designs (TD), Interface Specifications (IS) and data mappings for the E2E solution, liaising with cross-functional teams to achieve high quality designs

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as an E2E or Solution Architect in tier-1 operators
  • Solid understanding of the telecommunications industry and technologies, in particular around connectivity service delivery architectures, ranging from IT platforms to access technologies and in-home equipment
  • Good understanding of HFC, fiber access technologies and PON networks
  • Knowledge of industry standards, technology standards & architecture frameworks such as TAM, eTOM, SID, TOGAF, SOA, and Web 2.0
  • Experience designing and implementing service delivery platforms based on microservices
  • knowledge of REST/JSON, SOAP/XML and key web Front End and Back End frameworks
