Senior Java Developer
McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join a growing global financial services organization who lead the way in technological innovation and have their epicenter of technology based in their flagship Glasgow office.
You will join an existing team working on a number of business critical projects for the global bank. You will work as a Full-Stack developer using technologies including Java, Angular, SQL, Kubernetes and Kafka.
This is initially a 6 month contract position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of Java developer experience
- Frameworks such as Spring, Springboot
- Rich Internet JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React
- Solid SQL database skills.
- Experience of solution design input
- Experience with Oracle and managing a mix of relational and unstructured data a plus.
- Experience with cloud (Kubernetes) and messaging (Kafka) technologies preferred.
