C++ on Window Front Office Developer - Investment Banking
Developer with excellent C++ on Windows to work on FI Financing & Trade Processing using Apex (Apex not required) to support, maintain and enhance a 3rd party application called Apex (Martini is the old application name rebranded) for Repo Trading. In addition to the application there is also an in-house web UI interface built on top of Apex, with many interfaces and a multitude of feeds from up and downstream systems in the front to back workflow all supporting the Repo trade booking.
Skills required
- C+/17, STL, Boost, XML, JSON
- SQL on a relational database - nice to have
- Experience in C# using .NET/.NET Core
- Extensive experience with multi-threaded development
- Extensive experience with multi-process architectures
- MQ messaging and TCP/IP
- Experience in working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries
- A strong level of autonomy is required, as well as pro-activeness and curiosity
Desirable skills
- Proven experience with the FIS APEX Toolkit a big plus
- Extensive Repo product knowledge
- Proven python experience
- Proven experience with JS Angular
- Proven experience with DevOps applications and processes
- Experience in Scripting and process/testing automation
As a C++ developer, main responsibilities will be to design and develop new pieces of software, to enhance existing software to provide new functionality requested by the business and to correct bugs.
Scope: Develop new enhancements as requested by the business (this could be from Front, Middle or Back Office). Enhancements can be in the form of new financial products, new booking methods, improving functionality, reacting to audit points, regulatory requirements etc

- Oracle 12c/19c, SQL and stored procedures
