Robert Walters has partnered with market leading energy firm Shell to recruit a UX Designer for a 6 month contract (inside iR35) based in Coventry.

Your part in our journey:
Working as part of a digital product team, you'll be tasked with leading on and creating brilliantly simple, innovative and intuitive digital products that blend effortlessly with our customers' lives.
You'll be developing new ideas for our customer journeys, breaking down the traditional barriers and challenging the norms of the energy industry. You'll iterate and refine these ideas through sketching and wireframing before working on brilliantly intuitive designs that show what our customers will see.
Your part in the team:
As part of the wider Digital team, you'll be working within a team to create an outstanding Digital platform that will power the energy revolution (experiences) for our customers everywhere!
The energy market is evolving quickly, and we want to make sure we provide world class customer service. If you're an experienced UX designer who wants to be a part of helping us do that, this could be the role for you.
What you'll need to help you make the best of the role:
- 3+ years in a user experience role.
- A proven body of high quality work.
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Figma, Marvel etc.
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders to regularly deliver solutions for approval.
- Be open to collaboration, receiving both feedback and constructive criticism.
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
- To take the lead on promoting UX design within the company
- You can create simple and beautiful user interfaces and understand the end user
- You will deliver insight through user research and quantitative data
- You can support and mentor junior team members to develop their UX skills
The nice to have's:
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Knowledge of Lean UX and CRO
- Energy industry experience
- Service Design
