Description
This is a great 6 month contract opportunity for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to deliver on end to end projects including the service delivery for significant functions & products.
You will be working closely with cross functional product teams to build a delivery roadmap. Experience of software engineering, business operational process design, user research, user experience design and aspects of policy development to help manage delivery and setting the pace for delivery will be key.
The successful applicant will need to be well versed in Agile & Lean practices (DDaT), capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical applying their experience to multiple stages of the life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Continue to push the high performance teams to continuously improve
- Develop impactful metrics to drive teams to hit targets
- Build solid relationships with the technical teams, Product Owners, senior stakeholders, management and third party sub-contractors
- Manage external and internal stakeholder groups to ensure the team is working towards the same objectives
- Work with technology and business teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services
- Work closely with the Product Owners to build a digital delivery roadmap
- Drive the creation of the business case for complex projects, co-ordinate activities across stakeholder groups.
- Keep the teams on track and working to the business case throughout the life cycle of the project whilst establishing best practices to be followed.
- Create & lead workshops, meetings with a variety of stakeholders, driving out outcomes and determining the pace of delivery
- Work with external assurance groups and build relationships.
- Implement and establish best practice for the agile delivery manager community
- Continuously improve the agile methods and tools used across the business
This role will be remote for the foreseeable. Once restrictions are eased candidates may be expected on site for part of the week.
