Risk PNL Production Support Analyst - Investment Bank

Candidate with experience of production support on any asset classes (such as Rates, Credit, FX, Fixed Income, FX, Structured products) and who has a working knowledge/experience of Risk and PnL and SQL ITIL and Microsoft

Ideally someone who worked closely with any of the following users: Front Office, Middle Office, Product Control, Market Risk, and Quants on pricing, valuation, risk and pricing model related issues

Risk and PnL support team provides application support and maintenance of Tier 1 applications on a 24/7 basis.

The team is part of a global Front Office support group (with presence in Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai, Paris, London, Lisbon, New York, Montreal) responsible for supporting Credit, Interest Rate Flow & Complex as well as Equity derivative Risk and PnL systems with over 1000 users globally.


  • Excellent understating on PnL processing within an Investment bank.
  • Proven experience and good rapport within the business and IT community.
  • Ability to manage priorities and own' incidents and problems.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Understanding of SQL
  • Experience of application support in PnL applications within the Investment Banking environment
  • Familiarity of ITIL processes and methods
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products

This includes risk engines using Grid computation on more than cores, risk data warehouses and intraday risk platforms.

- Support and monitoring of the various batch processes

- Liaising with the various IT APS teams as required

- Resolving user PnL queries

- Work with development teams to test and release changes

- Monitor the status of the applications to identify any potential issues before they become problem

- User Service Now to record all incidents and problems. Produce weekly statistics the incidents

- Work with overseas teams, train and mentor as required.
