We are looking to hire a mid-level Matlab developer to support the development of our ordering simulation capability.
The business maintains a simulation of its forecasting and ordering systems and models customer behaviour in stores. This allows new code releases to be tested in a safe environment as well as analysis to be performed on hypothetical scenarios. We require a developer to help keep the simulator up to date with existing algorithms, add in new logic based on user specifications and support users with running the simulator.
The simulator is Object Oriented and pulls data from an SQL database (with future extension to a HADOOP database), so experience in these areas is useful, though not required. Training in the simulator architecture will be provided.
Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
