Spectrum IT's large UK national client are seeking an experienced Contract Digital Product Owner to join them on an initial 6 month contract (OUTSIDE IR35) to focus on a customer digital identity project which will include such areas as customer account creation and login journeys via both web and app to deliver the best customer experience possible. This role is also fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK.

As the Contract Digital Product Owner you will be part of the Customer Account Product Team that covers customer digital identity, this allows customers to access logged in services via both online (web) and mobile (app).

As Product Owner you will:

  • Develop the Product Owner decision making framework for account priorities and syndication/roll-out
  • Set-up the account backlog and manage implementation
  • Develop the 2022 fiscal year (FY22) detailed Account Roadmap
  • Benchmark external authentication options
  • Create a 1+ year strategic vision for Account
  • Create the Cross Channel Account strategy including channel shift
  • Develop the Account KPI and tracking framework; and setting this up including new data requests and requirements and managing this through to delivery
  • Co-ordinate the development of future channel strategy roadmap

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Complete understanding of the Product Owner role within an Agile Scrum setting.
  • Deep understanding of digital product management and development, with particular experience in web and app to digital technologies within relevant industries
  • Experience of successfully delivering change to customer journeys through development, delivery and analysis phases
  • Experience in authentication or digital identification customer experiences
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and issues and come up with appropriate and timely solutions.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and report on data and digital performance trends
  • Understanding of customer needs/behaviours and user-centric design
  • Experience in business process management or service design
  • Conversant in Scrum and Kanban methodologies, familiar with Lean principles.
  • Demonstrative ability to effectively balance technical capabilities, consumer & business needs.
  • Understanding of digital tools and technologies
