MHC are hiring a Digital Technical Delivery Lead - Banking to join us on a PAYE Contract basis and work on-site at a London based Bank.
Project:
- Lead and drive all aspects of technical delivery within a Feature Team providing direction, design and solutions to ensure that the product vision is met
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to the Product Owner and Scrum Master within an Agile Feature Team
- Work with Enterprise and Solution Architecture to define and deliver solutions in line with Architectural direction and strategy
- Identify cost efficiencies, future proofed solutions and best practice, industry leading, technical direction
- Support the Product Owner and Scrum Master in planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning and demos
- Create and drive a strategic direction for software quality assurance within the development team that includes best practices in quality assurance frameworks and sourcing
- Use network and industry knowledge to identify and propose innovative and creative options within the design and solutions
- Identify and remove impediments or conflicts that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal
- Coach and mentor developers including lead developers providing experience and example to develop their skills
- Using the insights from each sprint to strive towards increasing the velocity of your team
Essential skills/experience:
This Role will act as a Digital Technical Lead and will play a key role in Digital Feature Team(s) to support the continuing growth of the bank, heading up a large on-site team of highly skilled developers.
Essential Skills -
- Significant Experience developing Enterprise level solutions.
- Proven skills in software development
- A track record of technical experience and delivery in the Digital space - Mobile/Web and associated technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development working practices
- Advanced knowledge Agile toolsets (eg JIRA, Confluence)
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and nurture colleagues inside the feature team
- Negotiation and Influencing skills to ensure workable feature delivery within time and budgetary constraints
