C#/.NET Contract
Manchester/UK Remote - Inside IR% UK Remote
£550-£650 a day
A role has come up within one of the comeback stories of 2021. One of the world's largest travel providers are looking to help the world bounce back when it comes to your first trip abroad after the nightmare of the last 18 months.
This is an initial 6-month contract that in INSIDE IR35. The business has several Legacy systems which were created in days gone by in .NET technologies, an area which the business has since moved away from but still have important systems running in the area day to day. The plan is to bring in an experienced contractor to help maintain and improve efficiency with a long-term goal of helping set the team up to rewrite the systems later. There are several activities around these tools which they can't put off any longer, with heavy pressure to keep these functions running to constantly provide a top-quality service.
Technically we need all applicants to have strong commercial experience working with C#/.NET technologies & AWS along with Web UI's and AWS technologies for the deployment of EC2 instances. Experience running operating systems is also key! Like most contract roles this person will lay the groundwork and help the health of the systems to eventually hand over helping the team to understand more about the systems they don't use as much anymore.
