An international professional services firm is seeking an Interim Business Analyst with a track-record of ServiceNow to support the extension of the platform.
The Head of Business Analysis described the role as "a crucial BA role in our team to lead and take ownership on everything ServiceNow related and assist the business in truly leveraging the platform"
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Head of Business Analysis, your remit will be to own all aspects of supporting the deployment of new Servicenow functionality. This will include capturing requirements, document them as epics and user stories, delivering sprints and manage associated SCRUM meetings.
These activities will encompass extensive stakeholder engagement and liaison with the broader Business Analyst team, Project Managers and Development team (both inhouse and offshore teams).
Other responsibilities include:-
- Be responsible for the detailed Servicenow specification and modelling of holistic solutions using agile methods and techniques as required
- Conduct analysis and investigation of business problems and opportunities, and specify required changes to business processes and how they can be effectively enabled with Servicenow
- Engage senior stakeholders to develop and review Servicenow models, communicate modelling results and resolve any issues or disagreements
- Create appropriate tests and prototypes of ServiceNow components to be reviewed and approved by stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT colleagues and other stakeholders to shape the analysis approach and resource plan
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrable track-record of delivering Business Analysis activities for a ServiceNow implementation
- Proven experience of documenting requirements as epics and user stories with, delivering sprints and associated scrum meetings
- Demonstrable experience of working with senior business stakeholders across an enterprise environment.
- Has worked collaboratively with Programme and Project Managers, fellow BAs, Developers, QA, Architecture, InfoSec, Service Owners in IT and 3rd parties
- Skilled in using Business Analysis techniques and Information Modelling tools
- Strong presentation skills, either face-to-face or online within various contexts and to a variety of audiences
- Able to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal
