Job Title: Solution Architect
Location: London/WFH
Salary/Rate: £549 - Inside IR35
Job Type: Contract
Square One Resources are looking for a Solution Architect to join a six-month project working with one of our leading Telecommunications clients.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
- Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements.
- Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements.
- Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
- Reviews the business context for solutions to company challenges and defines the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, selecting the most optimal choice, and developing a roadmap for the chosen solution.
- Communicates the architecture to Client stakeholders and collaborates with existing domain architects to formalise and adopt IT standards and procedures.
- Directly assists in developing a solutions architecture program, including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
- Assures solutions are a fit for the specific purpose and closely align with the guidelines of the standards of the client's technology solutions.
- Assists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
- Develops and executes solutions that further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
- Provides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.
