Data Strategist cum Data Architect (GCP) role to help an established UK retail bank to set up and transition to a new green field cloud-based bank. This role is for someone to come in and play a Data Architect/Data Strategist role to help the existing teams to define the Data Management agenda in Target Operating Model, Data Concept Modelling, Catalog management etc. This is a client advisory role.

The successful Data Strategist/Data Architect (GCP) will help to create and review the solution approach in the areas of Data Virtualisation, Data Streaming, DevOps, Route To Live optimisation, Data Transformation, Data Consumption/Transformation/Manipulation etc. This person would become a Design Authority within Data space.
The successful Data Strategist/Data Architect will have GCP experience hands on design/build experience GCP products including Pubsub, Dataflow, Big Query etc. Good understanding of Data transformation on GCP. Hands on design experience of building AI and ML platform. Expert in engineering best practices and standards adopted by the likes of Amazon, Netflix, Google. previous experience of working as a Design Authority.
