Batch Process Analyst required.
A Batch Process Analyst is required by a market leading financial services organisation. As a Batch Process Analyst you will be responsible for investigating, analysing and documenting data requirements, with a particular focus in end-of-month (EOM) reporting.
As Batch Process Analyst you will play a key role in defining EOM positions and reporting, and must possess excellent SQL skills, and knowledge of data orchestration/workflow tools such as Control-M or similar.
It will also be a distinct advantage if you have strong commercial exposure to batch processing, batch scheduling and/or batch payments (or similar batch orchestration).
Alongside good data analysis and technical skills, candidates with excellent presentation and documentation skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels are preferred.
To summarise the Batch Process Analyst will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in financial services
- Considerable experience in financial reporting (particularly end-of-month)
- Vast knowledge of SQL and usage of SQL tools
- Experienced in Control-M (or similar)
- Ability to read and understand batch processes, scheduling and/or payments.
- Knowledge of data linage
- Experienced across the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Visio etc
