Key Skills/Knowledge:
DATACOM FOR z/OS Database Administrator
- Experience as a CA Datacom (on z/OS) Database Administrator.
- Working knowledge of Datacom Internals, fundaments.
- Hands-on experience with CA Dataquery/Datacom DB installations, Upgrade and Maintenance activities.
- Working knowledge of Datacom MUF/Datasharing environment.
- Working Knowledge on Datacom DB, Data Query, Datacom SQL, Data Dictionary, Datacom CICS Services, Datacom Press Pack, Datacom IPC and CA Sysview.
- Hands-on experience with Datacom MUF (Multi-User Facility) for Cross systems Coupling facility in a sysplex environment.
- Working knowledge on Datacom Backup and Recovery Procedure.
- Knowledge of Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning.
- Knowledge of security interface with Datacom & Experience with SMP/E and UserMods.
- Experience with installation and using Datacom tools & ISV Products.
- Working knowledge on Datacom CICS/MQ Services.
- Disaster Recovery Planning and support.
Experience required:
- Access Path Tuning, Database Consolidation.
- REXX, HTML,JDBC & ODBC connections understanding ability and knowledge on other Datacom product offerings.
- IDMS knowledge.
