Description
My client is looking for a Service Owner experienced within GDS standards to assist on a major programme outside IR35 fully remote from home.
Overview of the project:
* Triage & respond to user support needs (working with GDS user support/first line team),
* Respond to and manage incidents, plan and prioritise the team's work,
* Optimise the team's processes,
* Support our connected services (especially through migration),
* Use agile methods (like kanban),
* Be comfortable working with cloud native devops teams (eg. teams of developers), set and report on KPIs to the SLT
The chosen candidate will mobilise the programme, establish a roadmap and engagement approach that is sustainable and scalable.
The team provided to meet the outcomes will include:
- Cross government delivery and engagement expertise
- Product and programme expertise
- Identity SME with proven delivery in major identity programmes
- Service design and research expertise to capture and map analysis
- Provide programme and product level expertise to help develop a programme of work. This will be broken down into defined work streams supporting GDS in ensuring we do this as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- To support the definition of the overall delivery shape of the programme and how GDS will develop a skilled team .
- Provide specialist expertise including short-term tech/enterprise/security architecture support so that we can quickly build on the conceptual architecture developed to date.
- Help to Shape the overall engagement approach and strategy that will ensure we bring departments on the journey
- Analysis of existing reports and discussions with departments on key lessons learned prior to moving to the delivery phase (discovery/Alpha) commencing with departments
