Ihre Aufgaben:
  • Restructuring of Angola company; second phase will consist on the implementation of the improvement plans elaborated during phase 1, including the implementation of the new organisational structure.
  • Responsible for finance management and the financial health. Supports all lender, investor & analyst related activities and responsible for all major financial decisions and transactions, requiring an excellent level of financial knowledge and experience.
  • Plan, develop, and manage the finance departments and work as a member of the Interim Management Team
  • Analyse financial performance. Take appropriate actions to achieve targets and objectives. Provide informative reports to the Board on performance against objectives
  • Responsibility for the financial side of the operations and investments: Oversee and approve major financial decisions. Draft the Business Plans, budget, balance sheets and P/L statements
  • Provide leadership to the related departments of Financial Planning & Reporting, Treasury, Accounting and Asset Management, Risk & Fraud Management, Billing/Invoicing/Collection and Procurement, including the respective planning and operational responsibilities
  • Definition and implementation of processes in line with the business processes
  • Definition of requirements & implementation of suitable tools for financial reporting and controlling systems
  • Manage investor & banker relations
  • Provide leadership to improve finance and business processes and establish appropriate business controls. Identify and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Contribute to a corporate culture which supports the achievement of ambitious goals and fosters effective co-operation
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Board


Ihre Qualifikation
  • Experience in expertise area and long time in management positions
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Extensive International project experience
  • Experience in developing countries (African experience preferred)
  • Goal oriented mindset, can-do attitude combined with mentoring and training skills
  • Resilient and stress-resistant
  • Willingness to stay in Angola for 1 year and willingness to travel occasionally within Angola
  • Hands-on experience of how to run a finance department
  • Financial and Management accounting proven track record
  • Budgeting and Business planning procedures experience
  • Cash-management, bank relations
  • Management reporting
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Financial and business planning
  • ERP implementation
