Ihre Aufgaben:
  • Key liaison between OEM, customer R&D (mechanics, electronics and software) and customer project Team, ensure efficient information flow between OEM and the customer
  • Strong mechanical and electronic consultancy of OEM engineering to reconciliate OEMs and customer interests
  • Support OEM validation and test activities
  • Act as key technical liaison to other OEM departments/work groups: functional SW, diagnostic SW, HW and electronics, quality, lab testing, functional vehicle testing, field vehicle testing, vehicle diagnostics, vehicle wiring, styling
  • Clarify mechanical and electrical interfaces (e.g. steering column/steering wheel, connector interfaces) with the OEM and our customer
  • Provide technical support and assistance to OEM engineering and validation departments
  • Represent customer R&D and Project at the OEM preserves customer interests
  • Participate to OEM/supplier meetings (R&D and Project)
  • Ensure that OEMs and supplier development and validation processes are respected
  • Support all activities necessary to manage the testing/validation of supplier product at the OEM as well as vehicle integration
  • Clarify OEM testing and validation planning and part requirements
  • Co-ordinate the sample availability for test/validation activities (time/quantity)
  • Support and ensure (SW/HW) bench, lab and vehicle testing at the OEM
  • Provide our customer with test results
  • Check the compliance of Supplier product on-site, up-grade product (flash) and/or organize part replacement
  • Compare OEM complaints and/or requirements with program specifications. Ensure failure analysis of prototypes on-site
  • Track response to OEM Complaints
  • On-site plant support for design, assembly and testing of Supplier product in the pre-production build phases.
  • Support of engineering change requests, co-ordinate the change activities at the OEM and support the flawless introduction of engineering changes at the OEM (mechanics, SW, electronics)
  • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of OEM component drawings and CAD models of supplier products within the vehicle digital buck and resolves any packaging issues together with the customer packaging engineers
  • Work together with customer and OEM specialists to resolve post job #1 (SOP) production issues via PDCA process. Supports OEM release.
  • Checks immediate stock situation at plant and advises OEM on appropriate containment actions in co-ordination with plant quality
  • Ensure OEM design releases and collates/reviews initial sample report submissions packages with OEM


Ihre Qualifikation
  • Finalized engineering studies (Mechanics or Electronics)
  • Solid technical knowledge of mechatronic components
  • SW-background with knowledge of embedded systems
  • Familiar with CATIA V5, CANalyser, CANoe, Candela
  • Professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience on system/sub system development projects of mechatronic products
  • Experience with FlexRay, high speed CAN network, XCP and diagnostic
  • Knowledge of system safety for automotive products
