Quality Assurance Engineer vacancy requiring profound knowledge in Java Microservices for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 2+ years of experience with driving strategy definition and implementation for microservice quality assurance
- 5+ years of working experience as an Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar position
- Proven track record in defining quality assurance strategy for microservice implementations and experience with Atlassian tooling such as JIRA and Confluence
- Expertise with developing and supporting continuous integration as well as in automating API tests like REST and JMS/Kafka
- Good knowledge of Microservice oriented architecture and RESTFUL services along with proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies and tooling
- Intermediate skills in Java development like Spring as well as readiness to do exploratory testing/manual testing with an Agile-mindset, and ideally a follower of Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German, is highly desirable
Your tasks:
- Providing driving strategy definition and implementation for microservice quality assurance
- Writing automation tests using Business Driven Development as BDD methodology and working closely with the development team
- Assisting Business Analysis to elicit and document requirements in an appropriate form
- Supporting both the development as well as full automation testing of services
