Business Analyst - Data Warehousing / Migration - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced BA to join our Basel based client within the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Good command of data warehouses and data lake solutions including table/schema design, ETL routines and SQL
- Experience in defining test cases, supporting user testing and of data migration projects including data analysis
- Hands-on experience within an Agile development environment
- Professional certification in business analysis as well as knowledge of asset management, treasury banking products or business flow is advantageous
- University degree in a relevant profession such as information management or computer science
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analysing and fixing user stories and use cases (data journeys) for product or process data segments to be migrated from a legacy data warehouse to its strategic replacement
- Engaging closely with stakeholders to gain consensus on requirements and manage priorities
- Translating business requirements into product backlog items in line with Agile practices
- Coordinating with other work streams and with IT to align on related items and dependencies
- Defining test cases and supporting business users through UAT processes
- Supporting other initiatives within the banking innovation programme in a business analyst capacity
