Are you a software engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure problems with code?

My client has a world-leading Data Science and Machine Learning platform that touches every aspect of the client's company. For this to be so effective they need a state-of-the-art Platform that allows them to rapidly replicate ML models to collect data, validate their correctness, and reliably deploy them to production.


As a Software engineer for the ML platform, you will be responsible for build scalable products and design complex distributed systems. You will also be productionising machine learning models; both the data processing and the production side of the problem; and are passionate about taking the possibilities of machine learning to the next level.

Skills & Experience:

If you have a strong mix of the following skills and experience:

  • Professional experience writing infrastructure services and applications in any language, (Ruby/Rails, Go, Scala)
  • Understanding of the infrastructure necessary for machine learning, such as training pipelines and feature stores
  • An understanding of Data Engineering concepts and best practices
  • Cloud experience (AWS)
  • Event streaming (Kafka)
  • Terraform
  • Experience with data processing pipelines (such as AWS Step Functions) and stream processing (such as Flink)
  • Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis)
  • Ability to work with unfamiliar codebases, including internal, open source and 3rd party code we depend on

Highly Desirable:

- Linux Scripting

- Building REST APIs using python

- Understanding of Machine Learning
