Description
Cisco Network Engineer - CCNA / CCNP (w/m) vacancy for our Bern based client in the telecommunications sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ of professional experience in large web scale networking environments
- Solid understanding of routing and switching, also the ability to configure, analyze and troubleshoot various routing protocols
- Expert knowledge of security standards configuration of network hardware/software
- Cisco CCNA and CCNP certification is preferred
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Planning and implementing network communication approaches and protocols for routing, switching and other elements related to communication between network devices
- Leading troubleshooting and problem solving according to SLA/OLA specifications, ensuring information security for ICT services based on agreed service levels and defined security profiles
- Supporting architecture / design in platform projects and ensuring the feasibility according to technical and business requirements and standards
- Configuring and installing the software and hardware components, preparing required documentation and ensuring the information flow
- Developing and implementing backup strategies appropriate to applications and consistent with user needs
