Description
Data Manager vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of work experience in Data Science or Computer Science
- Capability to work in different expertise areas and being comfortable to work into new areas
- Proficiency with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell and other
- Solid understanding of structured and unstructured life-science data sources to apply statistical methods and analysis
- Ability to work with internal and external project groups and representing user requirements in those groups
- Languages: English and German, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Being responsible for application support including user management, resolving tickets and training users for COTS and internal applications
- Assisting, migrating and setting up an environmental monitoring system as well as maintaining, extending, renewing and creating support documents, training material and internal working processes
- Working on lifecycle management for business owned applications including software updates and patching
- Taking part in system and network administration including server hardware and software along with network equipment
- Working with interdisciplinary teams of web lab and dry lab collaborators, integrating, analysing and interpreting data and identifying potential problems
