Business Analyst - Data Analysis / Accounting - vacancy requiring profound Finance IT Integration knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis combined with the ability to read and analyze complex logical and physical data models
- Strong background in Insurance plus Finance and accounting or actuarial knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong delivery focus and willingness to acquire new skills
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Driving the IT business analysis of technical accounting system
- Collaborating with internal teams to capture complete and accurate business needs with focus on insurance source system data flowing in the finance system
- Analyzing, managing, and documenting the as-is status of business and finance data and providing gap analysis to meet all finance system data requirements
- Specifying source system data derivation rules with high quality, including proposing feasible and workable solutions
- Delivering testing data and contributing to the testing process in close collaboration with the developers working on the implementation of the integration layer for the new global finance system
- Monitoring the proposed solutions and keeping them up to date under changing assumptions
