Windows System Administrator - NetApp
In this exciting role, you will be part of the Cloud and Data Center team within the Technology and Transformation organization. Together with the team, you administer on-prem data center and cloud-based platform services.
Your Qualifications:
- Many years of experience as a System Administrator and good skills with IT Service Management
- Solid knowledge with Microsoft Windows servers and NetApp data storage
- VMware ESX Environment, Veeam Backup, Azure IaaS and PaaS, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure DevOps and CI/CD, PowerShell, Business continuity plans would be an asset
- Committed, independent, reliable, and pragmatic personality with a solution-oriented mindset
- Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, communicative, and goal-oriented personality with a “can-do” attitude
- Fluent in English, German is a Plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Administering on-prem data center and the cloud-based platform services
- Operating, developing, and continuously improving the services in terms of platforms, policies, and processes
- Implementing innovative solutions as technical change management, support, monitoring, and engineering tasks
- Localizing, isolating, and fixing malfunctions as well as giving impulses for technical avoidance and/or escalation procedures.
- Supporting conception, design and architecture, project realization, implementation, and operations of innovative business solutions using state-of-the-art technologies
- Contributing to local and global IT projects and providing expertise and implementation
