Site Reliability Engineer - Java / Golang / Grafana - this is a long term contract opportunity for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years' experience in software development, continuous integration/deployment and system engineering in cloudnative ecosystems
- Familiarity with a container orchestration system like Kubernetes with solid security and network skills
- Expertise in a modern language like Golang or Java and in scripting languages like Shell, PowerShell and Python
- Well-versed with opensource application and infrastructure monitoring tools, for example Elastic stack, Influx stack, Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong background in Azure cloud and multiple Azure services, including but not limited to AKS, Azure Monitor, AppInsights and Application Services
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, additional language skills are an advantage
Your tasks:
- Developing and operating state-of-the-art logging, monitoring and event management platforms
- Supporting application and platform owners to better understand their workloads running in multi-cloud platforms
- Providing consultancy service in logging and monitoring to application, product and service owners as well as developers
- Collaborating closely with developers and application owner to improve the cloud infrastructure and application stability and resilience
