Project Manager (Investments) required for a 6+ month contract for a banking client.

Candidates will be required to work through Umbrella or PAYE.

The client is based in Edinburgh and will offer remote working however candidates may be required to come into the office twice every two weeks.

The Role for Project Manager:

  • Joining Bulk Annuities team where they deliver projects for the Bulk Annuities business area within the Insurance & Wealth division
  • The project currently has 6 work streams within the project and the candidate will manage 2 or more of these.
  • Take responsibility for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organisation and/or conducts complex analyses on budget progress in other areas while working within established systems.
  • Identify shortcomings and suggests improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management programme with guidance from a Programme Manager.
  • Deliver prescribed outcomes for area of responsibility by working within established knowledge management systems.
  • Deliver outcomes by managing others and working within established systems.

Skills Required for the Project Manager:

  • Strong Investment experience or Bulk Annuities
  • Excellent Leadership and stakeholder management experience
  • Previously worked in Banking/Financial Services
