Associate Game Tester
(3 months+ Contract Role)
Summary:
This position will be responsible for working with the QA leads to complete individual testing projects.
Responsibilities:
* Takes on short-term tasks, working closely with other members of the team concerning design, schedule, and quality.
* Find, document and confirm the resolution of bugs and defects
* Work with the QA lead to guide testing
* Communicate project status to the QA lead
Required Skills/Personal Requirements:
* 1+ years experience as a QA tester within a high-tech environment
* Experience as a QA tester in the gaming space preferred
* An intuitive sense of what makes a game great
* Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, such as engineers and non-technical coworkers
* Ability to stay organized, meet strict deadlines, and exhibit great follow-through
* Must be detail-oriented and a quick learner
* Pro-active approach to finding bugs
* Strong knowledge of mobile technologies is preferred, but not essential
Education and/or Certifications:
* Third Level Certification, or higher, required
* College degree preferred
