Mechanical Engineer (Steel Equipment) job #2623 -- Akron/Youngstown, Ohio

Well established OEM located in eastern Ohio and possessing a long history of service to the steel industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to add to their team.

This high profile position will provide an opportunity to take projects from concept to completion including coordination of effort with clients, vendors, and skilled trades.

Position requirements include:

• BSME
• 5 to 10 years of experience with the design of steel industry manufacturing / processing equipment
• Hands-on CAD skills (Inventor experience is preferred but not required)
• Experience with generation of all pertinent calculations, layout drawings, etc.
• Good communication / presentation skills for customer interface
