This position is for a Software Programmer to develop and support the Asset Management and Engineering applications and development projects. There is a need for a developer to support the implementation of new systems, as well as enhancing and modifying existing systems.
TMust be experienced in the following languages; FoxPro 6.0, C++, PowerBuilder, C# languages and the use of the.NET framework to create Client Server applications, user interfaces and systems level programs (eg, Web Services, Windows Services, Console applications). The position requires experience performing analysis, design, development, documentation, and testing project tasks. The developer must also work with business partners in establishing support processes for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years experience
A high level of proficiency in developing and troubleshooting applications using FoxPro 6.0 and higher, PowerBuilder 9.0 and higher, C++, and C#, ASP.NET, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, CSS, and XML. - Expert in RDBMS concepts and proficient in SQL and stored procedures in SQL Server.
- Understanding of database design, database modelling, and database management principles.
- Knowledge of system performance and tuning.
- Experience with version control (TFS, Visual Source Safe, and Subversion preferred).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experienced in developing and/or supporting complex applications.
- Must be a quick learner, have the ability to reverse engineer complex code with little or no documentation, and must be very experienced in methodically and quickly isolating a defect in a production application, coding a fix for the defect, testing and deploying the fix in a controlled, safe, but agile and responsive manner.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience with VB6
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS.
- Experience in supporting production environments, with scheduled deployments, source code control, testing and verifying deployment procedures.
- Knowledge in creating batch processing and service oriented Back End business engines.
- Experience field data collection application development and data syncing technologies.
- Experience with defect management (HP Quality Center desired).
- Experience with asset management systems and concepts
