JOB DESCRIPTION
Services Engineer provides technical service and support to new and existing customer networks - Telecom and Datacom. Plan, design, troubleshoot and resolve problems in order to stabilize and optimize customer networks. Configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks. All activities performed by a Service Engineer should (normally) be in accordance to customer contract. Services Engineer would typically interact with customer technical staff and operation managers, service engineers and other groups within Service Delivery organization. They may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd Party suppliers and local authorities.
EMA Software loading, configuration, integration, verification, and troubleshooting of existing solutions on a customer site or in a lab environment, 3rd party, or customized packages.
Providing ongoing customer support throughout implementation Service as well as driving new solutions development in order to meet the customer's expectations.
Drive business with the customer by finding new convergence opportunities based on expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones.
Attend and participate in customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.
Carry out solution analysis and planning for various customers.
Ability to accommodate some travel including extended stays on customer sites when necessary (inside of RMED).
