1 year + contract for a Lead IT Analyst with strong .NET devleopment skills with C# and experience with EAI - Webmethods is highly desired.

This position is responsible for working with multiple teams to design and implement technology architectures including: SOA, Middleware, EAI, Virtualization, Storage, and Systems Monitoring serving IT&T Next Generation Demand Response (NGDR) projects. This position requires expertise in such sophisticated architectures and infrastructure such as EAI using webMethods, Web Services/Service Oriented Architecture, Middleware Administration, Operation Systems, Storage, Server Architectures.

This position requires an understanding of best practices in such methodologies as Enterprise Application Integration and Service Oriented Architecture, Virtualization, Storage and System Monitoring principles and design.

This individual will lead projects within the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Load Management System (LMS) workstreams which requires strong IT planning, prioritization and project management skills. The position will require a strategic focus, and this individual will lead significant portions of the Enterprise Technology Planning program. This position requires exceptional communication/facilitation skills to a variety of audiences including peer architects, application developers and upper management.

Enterprise Application Integration, Service Oriented Architecture, Virtualization, Storage and Systems Monitoring will be central to how applications and infrastructure are architected, developed, procured and consumed in the future, and expertise in these two areas is critical to our success in delivering the value of current and future applications for PGN. Prior work experience with Silver Spring AMI Head End implementations and/or Load Management System implementations is a plus.

Required Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Seven to nine years required
C# experience

Webmethods - highly desired
Good understanding of ETL and data warehousing
Good familiarity with UML and data modelling.
Should have experience in installing Middleware, Systems Monitoring, etc multiple platforms- UNIX- IBM AIX, Linux, Sun Solaris as well as Windows. Windows and Unix
Should have the ability to create prototypes, execute pilot projects, designing and revamping integration architectures, implementing end-to-end solutions, managing a team and partnering with client teams
Experience in development, standards and architecture are required.

The candidate should have worked on at least 3 significant assignments towards architecting/designing a major initiative of infrastructure implementation.
Experience as a Software Developer or System Administrator is preferred.
Experience with Silver Spring Head End is preferred.
Experience with a Load Management System implementation is preferred.

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work w-2 Hourly no C2C. Email resumes.
