The Senior INFORMATICA administrator is responsible for supporting the INFORMATICA Production, QA, Integration, Development and DR environments. In this role, you will be working with ETL development teams, architects, database administration and infrastructure support teams. You will coordinate downtime with the application support team to implement patches/bug fixes and will be responsible for environment uptime and overall system performance.

Responsibilities:
- Define standards and implement INFORMATICA best practices to manage and support the ETL environment.
- Responsible for the migration of INFORMATICA ETL code by using team based versioning, using Deployment Groups, Push-down optimization techniques and MD5 change data capture
- Responsible for maintaining INFORMATICA Power Center on Microsoft Windows Server 2003, managing INFORMATICA cache and storage files in the shared SAN storage
- Responsible for optimal health of and take necessary steps for better ETL performance including but not limited to server parameters tuning, ETL code issues, optimal design suggestions etc.
- Responsible for maintaining jobs in the INFORMATICA scheduler and Automate job scheduler
- Participate in Disaster recovery and failover of entire INFORMATICA environment along with other dependent infrastructure components
- Document processes and train team members within an onsite/offsite resource model
- Work effectively across various support teams and with management
- Responsible to work with INFORMATICA global support, provide feedback to managers, find a root cause and take necessary steps to prevent ongoing issues
- Experience with the INFORMATICA security model, LDAP integration, and managing large ETL environments.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience with an emphasis on INFORMATICA and ETL best practices
- Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing, maintaining and supporting INFORMATICA in a 24x7 operational model
- Minimum 4 years of experience in managing and supporting business critical applications, on-call support and working with virtual teams
- Minimum 3 years of experience with INFORMATICA Power Center 8.1 and higher.

- Certified INFORMATICA Administrator
- Certified INFORMATICA Developer
- Knowledge of INFORMATICA 9.0 is a plus
- Strong analytical skills - strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
