Description
Leading financial services company seeks an experienced Senior WebSphere Portal Developer for a 6 month contract with a view to extend. The successful candidate will bring with them an ability to work alongside the business and also superior communication skills. The role will see you:
- Work with clients to design technical architecture solution and document technical requirements
- Analyse business requirements and support the technical design and technical build phases.
- Identify, manage and report changes, issues, defects and risks and develop plans to resolve issues that may impact success.
You will bring to the role:
- Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies
- WebSphere Portal experience essential
- Experience with Oracle Database, Microsoft LDAP and Sun LDAP
- Experience in using Spring Framework, Struts and Webflow.
- Financial Services experience preferred
