Site Controller - Melbourne -12 month contract An amazing opportunity for a Site Controller to work for a leading Telco network provider. This will be a 12 month contract in Melbourne. Project Technical Environment- Transmission network sites including PDH/SDH/IP microwave, DWDM, carrier Ethernet, PTN,
- Mobile network sites including core, OSS, RAN equipment
- Datacomms sites including core, OSS RAN equipment
- Fixed network sites including NGN
Key Responsibilities:
- To own the end to end site deployment, managing site completion according to project schedule
- Site delivery performance management and supervision of the subcontractors including civil construction, base station and/or transmission equipment installation and commissioning
- Liaise with logistics on delivery of BOMs
- Report to deployment manager with daily/weekly report and attend regular meetings regarding site issues and subcontractor performance with respect to progress and quality on a site by site basis
- Solid working knowledge of current Telco technology platforms including 2G, 3G and transmission networks
