To take requirements from the business and turn them into functional & technical infrastructure designs.
Essential skills & experience:
- Unix Servers & operating systems - AIX, Red Hat, Solaris & HPUX
- Storage design
- Strong infrastructure design experience(3-5 years)
- Windows server and O/S
- TCP/IP Network concepts
- Database technologies - Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL
- Virtualisation - VMware, AIX, Xen
- Citrix
- Stakeholder Management
- High level infrastructure solution design
- Implementation & Capacity planning
- Cost estimation & management
