Our client require an experienced Pharmaceutical Director for a long term contract on the Health Economics and Outcomes Research programme.
The role.
Support country market access teams in deliverables and tools to validate and improve payer value propositions for selected marketed products.
The Director will serve as the principal Strategist for the Therapeutic Area in the respective market access function and will report to the Function Head or Group Leader. In collaboration with the product/compound Teams, the Director will formulate product strategy for approval by the Functional Head or Group Leader and ensure its implementation on behalf of the Functional Head or Group Leader. Will generally have product support and technical oversight responsibilities. The Director helps develop the Market Access Function (from within) by mentoring and teaching staff and by influencing the Market Access Leadership.
Candidates will need:
Must have advanced technical knowledge and experience of application across several therapeutic areas in respective market access function. Excellent understanding of market access needs across key markets. Also, be an excellent decision maker.
- PhD or equivalent in HE, MPH, or related discipline.
- 5+ years pharma experience.
- Customer facing experience at country level desired
