Description
Our client requires a senior OSS Project Manager to lead business expansion. Planning and delivery of a variety of application solutions. Must have telco OSS experience. Must be able to travel regularly.
Duration: 6 to 9 months.
Responsibilities:
Managing multiple OSS projects simultaneously; responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements of these projects.
Work with the client to identify business requirements, develop the proposal and translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans.
Statement Of Work and budget creation.
Management of off-shore resources and developing and managing a strong communication plan.
Preparing project profit and loss statements, tracking schedule and cost variance.
Prepare and present feasibility studies, performance and transaction/system analysis, alternative analyses and cost estimates.
Understand OSS technology.
Evaluate projects, via post-mortem process, and teamwork performance in respect to performance management and career development; document results
Responsibilities in business development, leadership, and project accounting, and project documentation.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 10-15 years' experience managing and delivering IT-based projects within a cable/telco OSS environment
PMP certification. Experience with waterfall methodologies an asset.
Experience working with an off-shore delivery team
OSS experience essential.
Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese an asset
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
