Petrophysicist - The Hague - 6 months+My client is a major player in the Oil and Gas industry, looking for a Petrophysicist to join their company on a contracting basis and provide their expertise to the company.
Role:
Support management and technical teams through provision of petrophysical analyses to assess business opportunities
Evaluate and promote technical oppurtunities
Provide information on operated ventures and co-venture opertunities
Plan optimum formation evaluation programmes
Undertake and supervise specialist petrophysical studies
Provide input data for static geocellular models for rock physic modelling
Mentor geological and junior petrophysical staff
Skills:
University degree in Geology or related discipline
Approx. 20 years experience in oil and gas industry
At least 10 years experience in petrophysical interpretation in exploration, development and production operations.
Thorough knowledge of equipment and relevant techniques
Wide-ranging analytical experience in relevant fields and techniques
