A leader in their field as well as currently investing heavily in new products and services across the Telco and Media space, my client has a diverse technical environment and fantastic projects dealing with infrastructure upgrades/migration as well as new products implementations across Telecommunications, mobile and Value add services within Multi-media.
About the role
The Senior Network Specialist role is responsible for Design, delivery, configuration, documentation and strategic improvement for the technical outcomes for the business and their customers.
Skills/requirements
- Proven Experience in a Senior Network Engineering role.
- Have solid experience in Data Centre/Hosting Environments
- Have experience with F5 load balancers (Must have- minimum 2 years exposure)
- Have experience with Juniper Netscreen Firewalls (Must have)
- Have or be working towards a Cisco CCIE (must have made good progress or have achieved). (Or proven equivalent experience in a senior design role)
- Have sound experience in a Telco and/or ISP environment (large enterprise environment is an alternative)
- Very good written and verbal communications skills (very important for this role).
- Must be a proven team player.
- Proven project delivery experience.
- Have worked in a very high availability environment.
- Must be able to own and be accountable for designs and configurations.
